Highfield Accredited Level 3

Delivering Training

A practical, hands-on qualification focused purely on delivering a training session well — built for people who need to get in front of a group and deliver, not study procedure and theory.

Delivering Training

What to expect

The Highfield Level 3 Award in Delivering Training (RQF) is a genuinely practical qualification for new and experienced trainers who want to sharpen their classroom skills and gain a recognised training qualification. Unlike our Education and Training course, this one isn't focused on procedure, protocol, or regulatory requirements — it's built around the single skill of actually delivering training well, using materials that already exist rather than building a course from scratch. Assessment is through a practical microteaching session plus a written self-evaluation report, not a portfolio built up over time.

  • Preparing for training delivery — identifying your learner group, health and safety considerations, and practical resource planning
  • Selecting delivery methods and resources to suit both the subject and the learners in front of you
  • Building a simple, usable timed session plan
  • Delivery strategies that build rapport, keep training accessible, and adapt on the fly to time and group needs
  • Using initial, formative, and summative assessment methods during delivery
  • Evaluating your own delivery honestly and identifying real areas for improvement

Built around your company, your values and your processes

Delivered with reference to the actual training materials and sessions you'll be using in your own workplace.

✓ Full Highfield qualification standard included. This course covers the complete Ofqual-regulated Highfield qualification standard in full — and can also be made bespoke to include whatever additional focus your company needs, agreed with you before delivery.

Who it's for

New and experienced trainers — internal or external — who mainly use pre-prepared training materials to deliver in-house training, and want a recognised qualification focused specifically on delivery skill rather than teaching theory. Suitable from age 16. On successful completion, learners may wish to progress to the Highfield Level 3 Award in Education and Training or the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.
